This little blog is just a regular lifestyle blog where I can write about our lives and ideas. I remember being young and only seeing my mother as that, a mother, my goal is for my kidletts to read this one day and maybe have an easier idea picturing the person their mother actually is. Maybe they will laugh, most likely they will be a little embarrassed but such is life no? Our home consists of five humans and three dogs. We love our Heavenly Father and are so greatful for this beautiful life we have been blessed with, problems and all :)
Don,aka Don Juan- My sweet Don Juan DeMarkland works full time as V.P of Operations at a company called Focus services and whatever their international company is called ( its all focus to me ). He is currently pursuing his Phd and spends a ton of time serving in our Church. Needless to say we dont get a ton of time with him but when we do see him it is wonderful and we couldnt ask for a better father and hubby. Plus he is pretty hot. :)
Me, Myself,and I- I am a full time mommy and housewife. I worked full time until my second child was about 8 months old and then we took the plunge, I quit my job, my lifestlye, my everything to stay home with my little loves. At first I have to be honest, I struggled, I struggled alot, but I have come to love this wonderful life calling I have. and through the years I have re-found the old Michelle and realized I didnt need to let that go just because I am a mom. in 2010 I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer, best cancer you can get because it is quite treatable, just kind of a downer. I am currently moving forward with treatment and we look forward to the day that this little blip in our life is a distant memory.
Logan- Our sweet first born. He is a sweetangel sent from Heaven. I have never met a more sensitive kind boy, his future wife is in for some big treats. He worries like his momma, but is brilliant like his papa. His desire to do good makes a momma proud
Kennedy- Our second Kidlett and only girl. She is sweet, funny,kind,well behaved and just like her momma.Right down to all the freckles on her tiny adorable face. She loves animals, maybe a little too much, sometimes her love intensity scares the crap out of dogs as she comes at them wanting to squeeze their faces because she loves them so much.
Jude- Our third and final child ( thanks to my stupid cancer ) He is a wonderful nightmare. He is wild, crazy, loud, fearless,just a little naughty, and we love it! this kid can not be held down, so good luck to all those who try. His spirit is contagious and we cant get enough of him.
Hamlet Prince of Denmark ( Hamlet ) our 9 year old rat terrior. He hates kids, hates Don, only likes me ...:)
Ophelia Osaka Cloukun Markland ( Fi Fi ) Hamlets woman, I know the name is horrible but we wanted to name her ophelia ( you know hamlets girlfriend in the play?) but the kids were into starwars at the time so they got name the middle name. Ophelia is a weiner dog and she has an attitude
Albus Dumbledore- ( Albie ) you should all know where that name comes from , if you dont shame on you. I recently adopted Albie from a shelter. He is a 1year old border collie. He is the most well behaved dog in the world, I am talking he runs and rides bikes with us without a leash. He just stays right by us. I adopted him while Don was in the Philippines for business. Needless to say I have been banned from going anywhere near a place where there are dogs up for adoption. Although, Don jaun and Albie are now best friends. To Don Juan I say " your welcome for Albie"
